Home Defence Tactics
Intro
Developed by Transition Security Academy, the Home Defence Training program is an innovative offering that integrates small team tactics within Close Quarters Combat (CQC). It aligns with the VBSS tactics taught by our Naval SF Instructors and, though similar to CQB, places a stronger emphasis on defensive applications for foreseeable events.
Course Objectives:
Teaching and refining basic firearms manipulations in compressed environments, along with learning close combat muzzle handling, movements, and mobility, enhances firearm competency. This training familiarizes you with your home’s vulnerabilities and highlights the use of angles, consealments and active versus pro-action applications.

By the end of this course you will be able to,
- Efficiently handle firearms in compressed environments and understand muzzle handling techniques.
- Move and maintain mobility at home.
- Utilize angles effectively for defensive purposes.
- Implement active and proactive strategies in home defense scenarios
Basic safe firearms knowledge is required.
For complete beginners, 25 hours are required to complete this training at an acceptable level, and it can be booked as a package at your convenience.
